Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have over your personal data.

1

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how TTM Shipping & Accessories ("TTM", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website, customer portal, and package forwarding and freight services between the USA, China, and Jamaica. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in accordance with the Jamaica Data Protection Act, 2020 (in full force since December 1, 2023). By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide and improve our services:

Account Information

When you create an account — either with an email and password or by signing in with Google — we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) your phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account; we never receive or store your Google password.

Shipping & Package Information

To forward your packages we collect shipping details such as consignee names, package contents and descriptions, tracking numbers, weights, store invoices/proof of purchase for customs, and delivery addresses.

Communications

When you contact us or submit a quote or contact form, we collect the information you provide, including your message and contact details, so we can respond.

Technical & Usage Data

Our platform automatically uses session and security tokens required to keep you securely logged in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.

3

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to: create and manage your account; receive, process, forward, and deliver your packages; generate invoices and receipts; clear packages through Jamaican customs; send transactional emails about your packages, invoices, and receipts; respond to your enquiries and quote requests; and maintain the security and integrity of our platform. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4

Sign In with Google

If you choose to sign in or register using Google, Google shares your basic profile information (your name and email address) with us solely to create and authenticate your TTM account. We use this information only to identify you and provide our services. Your use of Google Sign-In is also governed by Google's own Privacy Policy. We do not post anything to your Google account and request only the minimum profile and email information necessary to sign you in.

5

How We Share Information

We share personal information only as necessary to operate our services, and only with parties who are required to protect it:

Supabase — secure database, authentication, and file storage
Vercel — website and application hosting
Resend — delivery of transactional emails
Google — sign-in authentication (only if you use it)
Courier Jamaica — package manifest and tracking coordination
Customs & lawful authorities — where required by law

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information where required to comply with applicable law, customs regulations, legal processes, or lawful requests by public authorities. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

6

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal, tax, and customs obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customs documents (store invoices) are purged shortly after a package is collected and its invoice is settled. When information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

7

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level access controls on our database, secure authentication tokens, and strict separation of administrative credentials. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we continually work to protect your data and to limit access to only those who need it to serve you.

8

Your Rights

Under the Jamaica Data Protection Act, 2020, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion of your data where there is no legal requirement to retain it, withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing, and file a complaint with Jamaica's Information Commissioner. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at shippingttm@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date above indicates when the policy was most recently revised. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
